The First Steps“The Shropshire Bedlams and Martha Rhoden’s Tuppenny Dish – The First Steps” is compiled by John Kirkpatrick and Janet May. It has full notation, with notes on how we dance, music and sources for about half of our repertoire. Every dance featured has the music, the sources, notes of interest, the form of the dance and detailed instructions with diagrams. The dances range through the thirty years of our existence from the earliest, such as Three Jolly Black Sheepskins and The Blue Eyed Stranger, to more recent additions, such as Sleazy Reel and The Duck Race.
