This exciting music from the Italian Alps is the authentic voice of the North East Lombardy fiddle tradition.

With their traditional costume, they are both a musical and visual evocation of this unique tradition.

The fiddles, guitars and unique 3-stringed bass are played outside from dawn to dusk (despite numb fingers) during the February Carnival.

The “Sonadür” of Ponte Caffaro play for the dancers and - fortunately for us - internationally at concerts and festivals.
